This programme is designed for government officials and policymakers working in the fields of migration and asylum. This full-time three-month programme employs a variety of teaching and assessment methods, including lectures, interactive sessions, and practical exercises, with a special focus on the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method.
The MMDP aims to develop theoretical knowledge on migration management and practical skills such as articulation and presentation. Overall, the course equips participants with new skills and insights, offering practical and interactive experiences to apply the latest knowledge in the field of migration management.
In addition, the MMDP provides a platform for networking through field trips across Europe. These include visits to Dutch Ministries in The Hague, EU institutions in Brussels, as well as UN and other intergovernmental agencies in Geneva. This experience offers participants insights into national, regional, and international perspectives on migration management.
